Design And Implementation Of Expert System For Computer Aided Bronze Identify

Five thousand years civilization made abundant cultural relic treasure, and also made cultural relic identify more professional and complicated. Therefore, we combine computer and cultural relic identify technology, synthesized multi-experts' knowledge and experience and designed a bronze identify expert system model which help archaeologist identify bronze effectively and at the same time speedup sharing and communion of knowledge.The Expert System model is not only a universal Expert System model, but also is used as a whole expert system. Its primary function is using character compared method, compared with standard to help archaeologist to analyze age and name of the bronze according to characteristics selected, such as sculpt, pattern and posy.After adequate analysis on theory and structure of Expert Systems, concerning the features of the Bronze Identify field, we design a structure model of an Expert System which combines Production System and relational database. With this architecture we were capable to implement a practical model of Bronze Identify.The Expert System model encapsulate a few supporting mechanisms including knowledge presentation, Inference Engine, Explain Engine and knowledge acquisition. It can realize storage and manage the knowledge and deduce function based on special knowledge.Based on the architecture, The method of knowledge representation is a combination of Production knowledge representation and relational databases in which the knowledge is represented by the relations and the storage of the knowledgeis done by the database. The realization method of Inference Engine is adopted from the direct reasoning strategy. Some organizations and index policies were used to accelerate speed of reasoning.This fact proves that the model can speedup the development of Expert System and was universal and transplantable.
