| Chinese mass medias win widely welcome and better economic benefit, but at the same time we have found more and more matters against journalistic morality. It must be important for journalism researchers to study how to report the cases in order to regular the media's guide of public opinion, how to relieve the pain caused by journalistic reportage in order to find media's greater social influence.The dissertation talks about the journalistic ethical consideration on reportage of the cases from the perspective of mass media's journalistic cases reporting. It consists of three major parts, preface and conclusion.Part I: This part explains the idea of the cases journalistic reportage, shows its three features, which are the guide in communicating, continuousness in reporting, representative in selecting materials, and analyses the reason why the cases reportage are more and more concerned continuously.Part II: This part uses the typical examples of cases reportage to show that in current situation the main melody of Chinese media's reportage is to improve interpersonal relationship and moral standards. However there are still many problems. Some reports do the media trials that are beyond the normal trial procedure. Some reports pursue the excitement only while neglecting social responsibilities. Some reports blindly indulge the audience. Some medias' overwhelmed reports infringes upon the right of privacy. Some reports bring journalistic hurt as a result of unfair reports. In this part, from the journalistic point of view the dissertation talks about the deep reasons about those matters and discusses about journalistic ethical matters on how to make the difference between press freedom and social responsibilities, how to maintain the self-discipline on journalistic morality, how to balance the public's right to know and the right of privacy, how to relieve the pain caused by the journalistic cases reporting, how to remain the media's taste and pattern.Part III: This part sums up two points on conducting the journalistic cases reportage.One is to develop a double-restricting system emphasizing both on legal system and on journalistic self-discipline. On that point, the dissertation simply analyses the journalistic morality of Chinese journalists and demonstrates the importance of double-restricting system. The other is to balance the relation between the justice and the supervision of public opinion. On that point, the dissertation increases the significance of supervising the government and the justice of the case reportage and advises the framework of relations between the media and the justice. |
