Research Of Distributed System Based On Jini

With the development of network technology distributed computing has become more and more prevalent. Only that kind of distributed platforms which have the attributes of platform independence, dynamic, robustness, security, and convenience are what users need.This article mainly discuses a distributed computing platform based on Java technology-Jini, introduces its adventages compared to tradional distributed systems. Its basic principles and key concepts, system structures,programming pattens and protocols,the services it provides and service procedure are also proposed.Jini is a new distributed system based on Java. By Organizing and coordinating large amount of equipment and software, its working principle and concept have created a new era for distributed calculations. This article introduces the work principle ,and basic structure of Jini, and describes the ordinary process of exploitation of the Jini system, also analyzes and compares the functional differences between the Jini system and traditional distributed system.Network plug and play is a new technology of networking developed in recent years,which aims to improve the usability of netw orks. In this paper, the demands for network plug and play are introduced according to the development of network devices,and the basic requirements of network plug and play are summarized in terms of the functions of network devices and the processes of networking. The analysis of SUN's Jini are also presented.
