Research On Remote Maintenance Systems Based On Internet

Modern mechanic equipment is becoming more and more complicated, automated and intelligent, so the importance of rapid diagnosis and maintenance technologies is obvious which ensure the security and reliability of the manufacturing system. It is remote maintenance based on network, communication, computer and multimedia technique that providers rapid maintenance for equipment.Virtual instrumentation is composed of the computer resource, instrumentation and user interface which is used to analyse data and communicate. Remote virtual instrumentation is extended from virtual instrumentation in network; it can complete information collection, transmission and processing incorporation. In order to realize remote monitor and control, dynamic data or control signal can be transmitted from the spot to the control center by Intranet/Internet. According to characteristics of remote maintenance, hardware structures and software designs of virtual instrumentation are discussed in the paper. Lively resource of diagnosed equipment is provided for remote monitor and diagnosis by remote virtual instrumentation "which is built by using network techniques.AI incarnates intelligence of intelligent diagnosis. CBR(Case-Based reasoning) can solve new problems rapidly and accurately. Considering characteristic of intelligence of large mechanic equipment, principles of the CBR expert system, analysis methods of case knowledge and design of repository are studied. How to complete case-based learning and index the case base are also discussed in this paper. Advantages and feasibilities of expert system based on Web are analyzed. In order to realize remote diagnosis using CBR expert system, case base is created based on Web database by importing Internet into expert system.CSCW is a sort of distributed computing network. It can complete corporation of multi members who are in different space and different time by the use of modern computer technique, multimedia, network and humor-computer interface. Remote maintenance and CSCW. are integrated into one in this paper. Colligating virtual instrumentation and remote CBR expert system, CSCW environment of remote maintenance is established by using ASP, HTML, SQL Server and ActiveX component techniques. The remote expert consultation system is its hard core. Multi methods of signal analysis and fault diagnosis, such as Wavelet Transform, EMD analysis and fault diagnosis based on neural network, are provided in the system. By message board, users can ask for help if they happen to meet some problems. They can also bring forward their opinions and suggestion about this system to make remote maintenance more and more mature.
