Remote Maintenance And Realization Of The Key Technologies Of The Network Terminal

Remote maintenance is a technology that makes use of the network to inspect the local equipment in the separated area and utilizes diagnosis resource on the network or expert knowledge in the separated area to carry though fault diagnosis and equipmentmaintenance. This research is the subproject of the national "863 plan"------the SecureStructure Intelligent Network Computer Technology, Its target is to enhance the maintainability of network computer, make it conveniently used for users, and accordingly popularize network computers in country market more easily.According to the characteristics and sorts of the software and hardware in network computer and based on researching the structure and realization principle of Internet Reconfigurable Logic deeply, this paper researches the remote maintenance issue of network computer based on IRL and proposes some corresponding solutions.The main research works of this paper are as follows:(1) An operating system remote maintenance solution is designed and realized. To be aimed at the fault that operating system will not start normally, the operating system will be reinstalled remotely by the method that adds TCP/IP protocol stack to the Bootloader of the network computer.(2) A software fault maintenance solution is proposed based on the breakpoint mechanism. On the basis of deeply researching the process contexts and data structure of process task struct, the system breakpoint are defined. One method is also designed to save and recovery system breakpoint.(3) According to the makeup and sorts of the hardware in network computer, a resolvent based on finite state machines is proposed to design and realize the hardware fault diagnose software in network computer. If a hardware fault is checked out by the software, the hardware fault diagnose report will be sent to the remote host.(4) A network computer hardware fault remote maintenance solution that makes use of FPGA to replace the interface circuit of hardware with fault of network computer is proposed. The FPGA configuration file will be sent to the network computer by the host after which received the hardware fault diagnose report from network computer. The FPGA is configured by network computer by the use of CPLD. So the FPGA has the hardware logic function of the interface circuit of hardware with fault and the remote maintenance for hardware with fault of network computer is realized.
