| The PC-based Distributed Control System, attached with mature Configuration Software in industrial control is an important developing direction in the control field . The paper studied the software configuration in microcomputer-based Distributed Control System by means of the Object Oriented Programming method supported upon the Visual C++ 6.0 for windows and illustrates the key technology used in Configuration Software. I finished the concrete programming design and research so that the software could be used in Upper Layer Computer of the DCS. Any process chart can be edited by it and shown on it dynamically. The conventional control algorithm configuration can be fulfilled and generated executable file and can be sent down to the DCS control station.
