Research On A Method Of Design Pattern Reuse

The study of design pattern reuse method is a very important fundamental and innovative study. Formally describing new application requirements and design pattern, finding out a group of reusable designs from pattern base in which new application fields are included, reusing found design patterns and validating custom patterns, etc. The base is formal descriptions, and the core is the selection of patterns' reusable design.The dissertation extends DisCo formal description language to precisely describe design pattern. A formal retrieval method for pattern base - a method of design pattern selection based on prediction matching- is brought forward. We expect to extend the research in this field and promote the reuse of design pattern in software design. This dissertation consists of several parts of work as follows: To study the essence and characteristics of design pattern; To study and analyze the background and characteristic of Disco thoroughly, find out the necessity and feasibility of applying DisCo in design pattern formal description, extend DisCo to make it useful for design pattern description. To study the reuse of design pattern in software design and put forward a method of design pattern reuse. To study retrieval methods for pattern base, give a formal retrieval method for pattern base- a method of design pattern selection based on prediction matching to reuse the design patterns easily. To validate the effectiveness of pattern reuse based software design method usingexisting pattern tools through practical project example.
