With the rapid development of Computer,Communication and Large Scale Circuit,Internet becomes a trend in society,Especially in the area of Supervisory System. Depending on the Internet ,Supervisory System can acquire and control signal from one place to. more place of a city,from one city to more city and even in any place in the earth.So realization of network in Supervisory System has very important significance.Howerve we can not ignore the network's stabilization.The Embedbed Operating System can do it well. uClinux is a branch of Linux2.0/2.4. It is running on many kinds of hardware platform.uClinux also owns other merits such as its free source code, its inherit network functions and its modularization design in kernel. Therefore uCinux is very suitable to be the operating system of embedded system especially in control area.In this dissertation,the system design of Networked Supervisory System based on uClinux is discussed in detail.The mainly design include the design of Hardware,Porting uClinux OS ..Implementing of real-time support of kernel, device program coding,application coding and debugging.The content of charpters is as below:Charpterl is introduction.The Supervisory System,Network Transmission and the Embedded System are discussed.Charpter 2 is the design plan of Networked Supervisory System based on Embedded Operating System.The system structure of the whole system is discussed.In addition,the networked supervisory module that the author researched is also introduced.Chapter 3 is the Building of Networked Supervisory System based on Embedded Operating System.lt is divived into hardware and software design.The hardware design include the design of embedded processor ARM and its off-chip device.The software design include the comparison of uCOS-II and uClinux,the analysis of the uClinux kernel,the porting of uClinux on hardware platform,implementing of real-time support of kernel and the development of the device program.Chapter 4 is the realization of Networked Supervisory System.The development and debugging of application program are discussed here.The application program include serial communication,network communication,keyboard program,real-time program and LCD display program.In network communication,TCP end-to-end congestion control is applied in order to preventing from network congestion.Charpter 5 is a sum-up and prospect of the dissertation. The function of this system is analysed here.The improvement of it is also discussed.The Networked Supervisory System based on Embedded Operating System lias been successfully developed.The research include the development of the hardware platform based on ARM, porting uClinux on hardware platform,implementing of real-time support of kernel and the development of the device program.In addition, TCP end-to-end congestion control is applied in network communication.The dissertation provides with a higher practice and research value in the field of studying embedded system.Moreover,the research result will give illumination to industryControl using Ethernet.This Network Supervisory System has the characters of low cost,low power consumption,small bulk and more function.
