The Internet-Based Virtual Assembly System

Computer Aided Assembly Planning plays an important part in computer aided manufacture field. After analyzing the assembly planning, this paper brings forward an efficient way to realize the internet-based virtual assembly system and builds the internet-based gear pump's virtual assembly system.The first chapter dissertates the virtual assembly technology's status and application, discusses the advanced technology of the virtual assembly and explains the reason of studying the internet-based virtual assembly technology.The second chapter analyzes the handcrafted assembly and computer aided assembly, studies the method of expressing the assembly information, computing the assembly sequence and designing the assembly route.The third chapter studies the method of expressing the assembly information in detail and realizes the model's transform from Pro/E environment to the virtual environment.The fourth chapter studies the two key technology of assembly planning: computing the assembly sequence and designing the assembly route, pays attention to computing the assembly sequence and puts in the way to deduce the assembly sequence.The fifth chapter analyzes the flow of the virtual assembly, builds the internet-based virtual assembly system.The sixth chapter introduces the internet-based gear pump's virtual assembly system.The seventh chapter summarizes the jobs what we have done and points out the research target in the future.
