The Correct And Complement Of Yang Shoujing's Compilation Of Han Shu Twenty-three Commentaries Of Meng Kang

Meng Kang was a famous scholar in Wei Dynasty. He was very good at the geography, the astronomy and the philology. His the Pronunciation and Meaning of Han Shu which often was quoted by many books was valuable on the henneneutic and research. But it has been lost long.Mr. Yang Shoujing 's compilation of the twenty-three Commentaries of Han Shu which Meng Kang's annotation is one of them, collected the items quoted by four books, including Yan Shigu's collection of selected annotation on Han Shu, three kinds of annotation on Shi Ji, Li Daoyuan' s annotation of Shui Jing and Li Shan's annotation on Wen Xuan. The book of Yang Shoujing had big dimensions and was a hard work, which was very useful of reverting Meng Kang's the Pronunciation and Meaning of Han Shu to type, while it was hard to avoid losing something. The thesis based on the Yang Shoujing 's book, studied on the items such as distinguishing, correcting, completing, verifying and so on. I complemented twenty items, which Mr. Yang had been missed and put them to the supplementary items at the end, and added some items of more than ten important ancient books such as Hou Han Shu, which were arranged into the thesis for reference.Additionally, after combing early scholar's study and cleaning up Meng. Kang's annotation on Han Shu, I researched Meng Kang's life, official experience, writing and the general condition of the Pronunciation and Meaning of Han Shu been handed down. I hope my work would provide certain help for the further research.
