Designing And Implementing Of Long-Distance Teaching And Educational Management Information System Based On VPN Technology

With continuously appearance of WEB technology's safety problem, it stimulates the application and development of VPN techonology. Because the low-cost and operation system-based VPN technology make it possible for modern long-distance education's informational and network administration. Under tye help of VPN technology, it makes C/S-based MIS external from LAN to long-distance network. In this paper, it has introduced VPN technology, the plan of VPN network building and the specifice way of network building by VPN technology, which was provided by Windows 2000 operation system. The paper mainy discussed the long-distance teaching and the designing of educational MIS based on VPN technology. Combined with Adult-education institute of BUCT, the specific designing plan and implement method of this system was discussed detailedly. User's management is an importment part of network-based MIS system, in the sixth chapter, it's principle of system login, implement method and programming was detailed discussed. At last, it also analysised andexpounded the designing principle and specific implement mothed of Data Transmission Module based on VPN technology.
