Since China has joined the WTO,tobacco industry of our country has to make itself adapt to the global market which may bring in a severe competition from large foreign companies.So improving management would be a wise choice for domestic tobacco corporations to strength their own abilities to compete with others.Because of an important role informationization plays in advanced management,it has been considered as the foundation of a corporation's daily running,thus ensure a sustainable development.Although the information construction of General Group has already made some achievements,its scale is still far away from satisfying the business demand of the whole group at present.Marketing management is just a weak point which badly needs help of a software system.The project of marketing management system of General Group is under the guidance of the whole development strategy of General Group, combining its overall IT planning and the goal to improve the whole marketing professional management of the enterprise.The marketing management system will support General Group's management in sale,market,service,brand,etc. and make the information transmission among departments,such as marketing,producing,researching and developing ones,etc.,much more effective,and then promote the responding speed of General Group to customers and market.Firstly,in this thesis, the current situations of informationization construction of the whole tobacco industry in China and General Group are described.And it is also including the background and the aim of developing the marketing management system with a brief introduction of General Group and Jinan Cigarette Factory.Secondly,the requirements of the system are analyzed,including software and hardware environment and the system function design that are needed for developing the system.Both function division and function description are involved in function design.The function of every module in the system is confirmed in function division.There are eight modules(subsystems) in the system:Budget and plan system is used to assess an annual budget of sales and expenses;Sale management system is used to gather and collect the data of the trade;Brand management system is used to accomplish selling structure analysis,trend analysis and stock analysis to cigarette of every brand;Performance examine system is used to evaluate the sellers' work; Market management system is used mainly in gathering,summing up and analyzing the data from market surveys;Customer management system is used for the classification management of five kinds of customers;Serves management system is used to gather the feedback information about customers' complainings,service quality and so on and make statistical analysis for these customers' information.It can also evaluate customers'satisfaction;Decision-making system is used as a statistical tool to predict sale situation in future with historical data. Since the function description is derived from the investigations and researches of the system requirement,it is a foundation for the design and development of the whole system,thus has a detailed description in the thesis.In the third part of this thesis the system general design is illustrated.Because the space is limited here,I only introduce the design and development of "brand manage" subsystemn which I took charge of in this project,and present funtion descriptions and flow charts of all subsystems in brand management system. It is database design and interface design that are stated fouthly.The database design is mainly described in form of tables which include the detailed description of every fields in all tables.And interface design shows some interfaces in system.The final part of this thesis is a summary of all above contents with an overall evaluation to the system.In addition,MVC pattern and JfreeChart engine are introduced.MVC is a popular java pattern while JFreeChart is a open source code and free java draw engine which is used in many places in this system.So I give it a...
