| Purpose:1. To design the computer-assisted cognitive screening and rehabilitation systemto provide more simple and accurate method for cognitive function examination and interesting software for cognitive function rehabilitation. 2. To confirm the efficacy by the primarily clinical test for the diagnosis system. 3. To provide the feasible ecidence for computerizing psychological test and cognitive rehabilitation.Methods: 1. To design files including guide sentences, questions and database of thediagnosis system based on the questions of NCSE ( Neurobehavioral Cognitive Status Examination , NCSE) scale. With reference to the rehabilitation tasks- of orientation, attention, calculation, memory, construction and reasoning which are commonly used in clinical work, files of cognitive rehabilitation software for programme have been designed, and . computer-assisted cognitive screening and rehabilitation system have been developed by cooperation with software programmer. 2. Eighty normal and thirty five cognitive deficit cases screened by MMSE scale were selected to be examined by both computerized and artificial assessment, then correlation analysis and consistent tests about the result of the two groups were underwent; Taked MMSE for standard to analyze the sensitivity and specificity of computerized assessment; Compared the scores of patients with different level cognitive impairment by NCSE computerized examination, then, the total scores of NCSE computerized exmination and MMSE were underwent correlation analysis.Results:1. The compiling of files in Computer-assisted Cognitive Screening andRehabilitation System have been finished, and hclp to design the sofewarc. 2. In the test of diagnosis system, the correlation and consistency between NCSE computer-assisted examination and NCSE artificial assessment were good; NCSE computer-assisted examination has high scnsitivity(l00%) and specificity(90%); Significant difference of scores of the NCSE computer-assisted assessment among the patients with different degree ofcognitive deficit was found; The correlation between total scores of NCSE computer-assisted examination and total scores of MMSE assessment was good.Conclusions: 1. The application of computer technology not only make the diagnosis of cognitive impairment become more simple and accurate, but also make the rehabilitation of cognitive function become more interesting and attractive. 2. Good consistency between computer-assisted cognitive screening system based on NCSE and NCSE artificial assessment was found, and the system may have a good prospect in cliniclal application. |
