| With the development of multimedia communication, digital video coding has become more important. The video communication system, encoded compliant with H.263 recommendation, will play an important action in our daily life and have high practical value certainly. In-depth researching about H.263 recommendation has been completed in this paper, bringing some more effective algorithms and a hardware platform, at the same time, structuring an emulation model base on TMS320C6711DSK. Optimization base on DSP has been made and achieving high performance. The research works and achievements of this paper are listed below:1) Analyzing H.263 recommendation in details, discussing principle and algorithms of main module, such as moving estimation, transform encoding, quantization, vary length coding, bit rate control, high effective software encoder has been developed as well.2) Discussing the core algorithms of H.263 in details, comparing performance of three Micro Block searching skills and analyzing principle of the Pre-estimation technology, verifying their performance as well. Presenting self-adaptation threshold matching algorithms, improving 85% encoding efficiency.3) Design a hardware platform of H.263, including video collecting, video encoding, bit transmission, software decoding and video replay. This platform has good guide action for algorithms evaluation and video product development.4) In-depth discussing H.263 realization on TMS320C6711DSK developing Kit, giving hardware emulation model. Describing algorithms optimization on DSP in details, giving five ways for the optimization technique. At request of QCIF image, 64Kbsp bit rate, encoding 25 frames per second, and achieve real-time efficiency. |
