The traditional mode of providing network content is that the content is provided by central server.It can work well while the network content is less,or the number of user is smaller.But with the development of the Internet and the increasing multimedia content,the traditional mode is difficult to guarantee high quality service to user.Therefore,we should find a new network system structure and technique that can handle this problem.The Content Distributed/Delivery Network(CDN) and Streaming Media technique are these powerful tools. The article firstly introduces the concept and the development situation of CDN and Streaming Media, and expounds the system structure,constitutes and principle of CDN.Then it advances a set of emulational system of Streaming Enabled CDN(SECDN),makes a demand analysis of the structure and features,and focuses on the simulation system structure,the disposal flow and main function.Finally,according to the designing demand,a application software program named SIMULATE is achieved,and we do a lot of experiment to test its performance.In the meantime,achieves a lot in the innovation of content delivery tactic. Using SIMULATE, we can put up complete simulation towards the system structure,collective flow and pivotal performance of CDN. The result shows that this system has the good effect and simple operation,which is an advanceded aid simulation tool of CDN.
