| Secure-mail gateway has been developing rapidly with the purpose to reduce flooding junk mails at the server terminal; however, there are several faults in it, e.g. it's not really user-oriented and the junk mail filter doesn't work well. This paper tries to solve these problems by proposing the design of Personalized Secure-mail Gateway.I've put forward the Personalized Secure-mail Gateway together with the network framework of operating mail server, analyzed the data procedure of secure-mail gateway under various conditions, and designed the system configuration of the Personalized Secure-mail Gateway. There are 8 modules in the system, among which the IP Filter Module, the Strategy Filter Module and the Intellectual Filter Module work separately layer by layer to filter all new E-mail data received. The Black List Management Module, the Log Management Module and the Configuring Information Management Module, the Rehabilitating Module and the Management Interface Module provide support for the previous 3 functional modules. I've designed the intra-structure of each module and defined its workflow.Personalized Filtering is a method to meet different demands of junk mail filtering of different administrators and users, whose principle is presented in the 3 functional modules of the Personalized Secure-mail Gateway. After the definition of generalized junk mail and personalized spam mail, all levels of system administrators and users are adequately involved in the establishment of junk-mail filtering strategy through the setting of filtering strategy and processing of junk mail, as well as the section-specific management of the whole system in accordance with different demands. The principle of multi-filters filtering is mainly demonstrated in the Intellectual Filter Module. Multi-filters filtering provides support for personalized filtering. Finally, a contrastive study of multi-filters filtering and common filtering has been conducted and the results show that the multi-filters filtering works better than the latter. |
