This paper discusses the design and realization of upper application software for UDP real-time monitoring system under the environment of LabVIEW.The paper introduces the composition and design principle of the monitoring system of the computer. On this basis, presenting the overall design plan of the real-time monitoring system and classified analysis of the software function by analyzing the technical principle of the magnetron sputtering ion-plating system and monitoring targets. It layouts the building up and design of the functional module of the real-time monitoring system on the foundation of preceding discussion. And realizes friendly man-machine interaction, simple visual technological process control, technical tendency display, technological parameter setup, safe and reliable malfunction alarm processing.By researching the key technology of LabVIEW, it presents the multitask scheduling strategy, discusses the design method and detailed realization of three scheduling strategies based on LabVIEW, increases working efficiency of CPU of the processor, ensures normal execution of the multitask in the system; In addition, by comparing different interfaces of accessing to database in LabVIEW, a proper method of visiting the database with LabSQL is presented. Using this method in the real-time monitoring system and achieves convenience management of the testing data.
