With the rapid development and extensive application of computer network technology, computer network control is applied more and more widely. It has become a focus of research in the field of automation. We can make full use of physical and mental resource and build sharable network resource library through it. We can realize CIMS synchronously.Remote monitor technology and the application of it are studied in thesis. A project for design and realization of the remote control systems based on fieldbus and Internet is presented. The speed of information intercommunion for Device-net is greatly enhanced through making use of fieldbus technology. Especially, it can realize remote control and maintenance in accord with the need for amalgamation of management and control on Internet. It benefits nobody's watching and fault diagnosis out of the way. Therefore, it is significant to research on some correlative fields.The project is based on the experimental system of computer network control. The communication stream is classified logically through the project. The real-time information is translated into the real-time data document. What's more, it builds network of real-time data and history data. The real-time data document and history databases may be utilized availably. According to the different transmission need, the different programming and communication stream mode is adopted using OPC technology. Data and parameter can be examined and modified by Internet Explorer based on Web server and JSP in this system. Not only the real-time and history data can be visited fleetly, but also they can establish the connection each other. In addition, video data can be integrated through ActiveX control technology. So we can look over them in the distance. It will make the project a bring foreground in many fields.The author participated in building the laboratory of the Department of Information Engineering at Zhejiang University of Technology and designed and established a remote monitor experiment system based fieldbus and Internet. The result of experiment shows that the system is valid.According to the need of many small-scale hydroelectric Stations, the author participated in the important item of the design of small-scale hydroelectric Stations' remote control and software optimization exploitation. The structure of hardware and software is designed. The technology shows us its great value , both the level of automation of hydroelectric Stations and development of economy at a mountainous area in Zhejiang.
