| As China enters WTO, the pressure of the banks is more and more heavy. Therefore, the customer-centered policy gradually becomes the leading management conception for the banks. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is introduced into the business process. It has greatly simplified the business process, eg. the sale, market, service, support and so on, which are related to the customers, thus it makes the enterprises concentrate on meeting customers' demands. In short, CRM puts the most advanced theory into practice and helps the enterprises to achieve the enterprises' goals by making use of current various advanced techniques. The Bank Customer Management System designed for enterprise management and decision needs to be combined the database application with the network techniques.With the rapid development of the computer and network techniques, the software architecture has been developed from two-tier structure of C/S into three-tier structure. Compared with the traditional information system model, three-tier structure has more advantages especially on feasibility, extension ability and safety in the aspects of technique and application. It can be applied to the development and management of the distributed application, thereby it generally utilizes the information resource more effectively.First of all, the dissertation discusses the limitation of the two-tier architecture for systems extensiveness and multi-users. Then it analyzes the theory of three-tier structure, and analyzes the difference between the two structures clearly. It also introduces the advantages for its feasibility, extensibility and security. Further more, the dissertation describes the key technology to apply the J2EE structure and MVC pattern. As a result, it concretes requirements of the Bank Customer Management System, and puts forward application solution using J2EE structure.
