Typical Reportage In Double Aspects

Typical reportage is an important component of news theory and news propaganda of the Party paper of Communist Party of China. What are its essential connotation and basic social function? What kind of evolution it had undergone? Some practical predicaments exist in typical reportage in new period of time and what are they? What's the reason that gives rise to these crisis after all? And how will typical reportage develop in the future? All these are questions that this article strives to answer.This paper argues that typical reportage is both a kind of concept and a kind of way of report. An integrated typical reportage should be a "combination" affected by the concept of report and the way of report together. Therefore, we must stick to the interactive relationship of the concept of report and the way of report. Only in this way, can the new, progressive way of the research of typical reportage be expanded. Meanwhile, different times, social ecological environment and media status should be taken into account in typical reportage researches. Researches, only implemented in this way, is able to obtain a more forward-looking and scientific judgments. In other words, not only should the concept of typical reportage be developing with the time trend, but also should its operating tactics, skills, etc. be developing with the changes of times, development of society as well as the change of the audience's cultural psychology. These are the bases on which this paper's views are set forth. Besides, these are also what this paper stress on.. Based upon such elementary knowledge, this paper will discuss the historical evolution and essential connotation of typical reportage of the concept of report and the way of report in different periods concerning the interactive relationship of the concept and the way of report, and put forth five basic social functions that typical reportage should require in the new period of time. After refuting two illogical theories, namely the typical reportage's "weakening theory" and "strengthening theory", the paper stresses on the great significance of sticking to and perfecting typical reportage. This paper also advocatesscientific and humane concept of typical reportage to develop and perfect the way of typical reportage and operating tactics.
