| With the improvement of the economy of our motherland in recent years, the need to use the automatic air traffic control (ATC) system is stronger. A lot of aviation management centers have imported many kinds of air traffic management system controlled by computers. To assure the safety of the flight, the ATC system has to work continuously and stably. In order to satisfy this requirement, the ATC system with clustering is suggested. Aiming at the requirements for liability and stability by the ATC system, this paper discusses and implements a scenario on the basis of the two-node redundancy system. In the latter part of the article, a set of demo programs are introduced to let two different aviation information network switch messages. On the basis of the ATC redundancy system, these programs imported a method of gateway to achieve the goal. The background knowledge, such as the concept and classification of clustering, is introduced firstly. Then the benefit of the clustering technique is analyzed. After that, the paper explains the reason why the clustering integrated into the OSes can't be applied on the ATC system directly and gives a solution using active/standby servers to make sure the ATC system can operate reliably and stably. In the second part of the paper, the demo programs are fully analyzed. The principles of the gateway are explained and the process of the demo is discussed. In the end, the crucial points are fully explained and the conclusions are drawn that the demo programs are successful in their missions. |
