| With the rapid development in the information technology cause, traditional expression manner and information transmission manner are no more content to the people and social needs. The Internet video conference and Video Phone technology emerges as the times require, transmit video information through wireless and Internet is the trend of the development in video communication. Due to the limited bandwidth and abominable communication environment, researching in the low bit rate video compression encoding is become special important.Supported by hundreds of domestic and international bibliographies, this thesis systemically summarizes the achievement in low bit rate compress video encoding research. Based on the summarizing forefathers' research achievement, this thesis emphasis on the theory and technique in low bit rate video compression encoding. Specially, this thesis deeply discusses the research on the technique and procedure in H.263 encoding standard. According to the huge data and little delay is the basic requirement in video communication; the efficient and fast video compress technique is the critical in video communication. So, this thesis aimed at the mainly wasting time modules in H.263 algorithm-movement estimation and prognosticate modules and DCT modules. As the thesis has deeply analyzed all sorts block matching search algorithm, we adopted diamond research in our software experiment system. Also, according to the shortage of the diamond research algorithm, we adopted the relevant improvement method in our software system. On the premise of not influencing the video quality, according to the motion estimate module researching take the time so long, we adopted prognosticate the block searching technique. Against to the bigger operation amount in DCT module, we adopt zero prognosticate judge technique. In this thesis, for the sake of improve the compression rate, we exert MMX technique and implement the coding optimizing and saved a lot time, also improved compression coding rate. At last, based on the integration of the upwards research, we realize the H.263 video encoding and decoding software experiment system. |
