The Research And Application Of Oil-field Data Mining Technique

Because more and more application is dealt with computers in current oil-field system, a lot of data are accumulated. Of course, it is important and urgent how to obtain useful information and knowledge from these data to support oil field development. At the same time, the data mining technology appeared, it can solve this problem. Data mining is an important subject in the artificial intelligence field and an promising discipline and discipline front in the database system and new database application .Data mining often is called knowledge discovery in the database ,it is automatic or convenient for pattern extraction, these patterns represent the knowledge which is hided in the large database ,data warehouse or other large information .data mining is cross discipline ,these disciplines contain database technology , artificial intelligence ,machine learning , nerve network , statistics learning, pattern recognition, knowledge library system, knowledge acquisition, information retrieval, high performance calculating and so on. Bayes method and clustering analysis are the commonlies used method in the data mining.The characteristic of the Bayes method is to use probability to express the uncertainty of all forms, learning and the reasoning of other forms are all realized with the rule of probability. Bayes method has the higher rate of accuracy while in the text classifying. Clustering analysis is a kind of important method and means dealt with data divides or divides into groups. Purpose of it to make the individual distance on same classifications is possible and little, and the distance among the individuals on different classifications is possible and large. This paper first summarizes the current situation , development trend and application field for the data mining and machine learning, then explains Bayes learning method and clustering analysis in detail, at last according to the oil field data characteristics, applies them to oil field data monitoring system and achieves anticipated result.
