Research And Implementation Of Network Management System Based On Broadband PLC

With the constant development of broadband PLC network, traditional network management mode cannot meet the needs of broadband PLC network because of its characteristics. For these purposes, several management strategy and tactics for broadband PLC network are proposed in this paper. The idea of applying Web technology to broadband PLC is proposed, web-based management model for broadband PLC network is designed and its elementary functions modules are also described in this paper. Then, this network management system is implemented using Java and JSP languages. Moreover, the faulty detection algorithm for the PLC equipments is presented through the model-based reasoning technology. Web-based management for broadband PLC network provides a new network management method, which is distributive, real-time, flexible and more powerful, and it advances the extension of PLC in China.
