Archives Information Management Platform

With the rapid development of the society, people require more accurate and faster information. Most of the social important information resources are grasped in government and social organizations. There are disadvantageous situations in original files and archives such as management out of joint, repeated work, confused standard, as well as the slow speed of information turning from hard copy to soft copy, all these factors lead to the ineffective use of the most useful information resources. That is a huge waste of social information. How to accomplish the aim of E-Archives management and turning files and archives management to digital method has become the "hot" problem.Based on archive management digitalization engineering of the Sichuan province, a universal archive management digitalization system is developed by making full use of the information technologies including computer technology, communication technology, network technology, database technology and multimedia technology. Based on the macro-design and the end users' own situations 4 different sub systems with different structures are designed. Therefore the system meets the needs of government archives management.The principles of the application of E-Archives management are particular discussed in the paper. Solutions are also discussed. The principles and the methods of software engineering are used to control the design and the development progress in order to improve the quality of the software and depress the cost of the software.
