| The functions of most of the existing GIS (Geography Information System) are limited to narrow limits, such as storing, visualizing and querying the data of maps. DSS (Decision Support System) is skillful in providing associate decisions. With combining of GIS and DSS, SDSS (Spatial Decision Supporting System) is coming into being. On the other hand, DSS is integrated with ES (Expert System) to produce IDSS (Intelligence Decision Supporting System). In the field of military, with the development of information technique, the new military strategy, which is focus on information war, is popular among the world. Hence, the research of air traffic control intelligent spatial decision supporting system based on GIS has important academic and practical scene in advancing the development of GIS. Our dissertation combines IDSS with GIS. Taking advantage of the ability of managing spatial information of GIS and associate decision of IDSS, and integrating the knowledge of ATC (Air Traffic Control), we develop a new ATC system, which is adept to modern war. Firstly, we introduce and analyze DSS, GIS, and IDSS in detail. Then ATCISDSS (ATCSDSS, Air Traffic Control Intelligence Spatial Decision Supporting System) is proposed. Secondly, we present the framework. Based on the function and requirement of ACTISDSS, the system is divided into several function modules. Thirdly, we discuss knowledge base and reasoning machine of ATCISDSS. After studying knowledge concerning ATC, we design the reasoning model and its modules. Finally, the prototype system for ATCISDSS is realized. ATCISDSS is very helpful to change the existing situation that the present ATC systems are behind the times relatively. It will promote the development of military aviation and civil aviation, ensuring the aviation safe and improving the campaign ability of our army. |
