Research On Web Service Based Middleware System For Heterogeneous Database Integration

Limited sharing of resources and coordination of data layers become questions which to be solved in the system of data integration. In this paper, we first introduce the state of research for data integration and the middleware technique, some application of middleware system in Heterogeneous Database Integration. Based on these bases, we put forward a model of Heterogeneous Database Integration Middleware System Based on Web Service and introduced the design and implementation of many crucial problem of the middleware. At last we introduce the feasibility and validity of the system through application.With this middleware distributed heterogeneous database can shield the heterogeneity of database and transparent to the user. Therefore, the heterogeneous database information and hardware resources can be shared. And with the Web Service, the system can cooperative work and loose coup with each other. Designing the integrated system of heterogeneous databases based on Web Service promotes the cooperation of developer, lowers the developing cost, and improves the manageability, the maintainability, the flexibility and the reliability of the system.
