Objective:To explore the syndrome characteristics of non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis in TCM, and the relationships between the syndrome characteristic and Child-Pugh class and objective detection indicators, so as to provide the objective evidences for the syndrome differentiation and treatment of non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis.Methods:① theoretical research:Research progress on non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis, both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine was summarized; ②yndrome research: The syndrome characteristics in TCM was statistically described through 235 cases treated by JinHua Hospital of TCM during Sep.2009 to Sep.2015 in method of TCM clinical epidemiology, including gender, age, symptom, diagnosis of both western medicine and TCM, the Child-Pugh class, the level of alanine amino transferase (ALT), aspartate amino transferase(AST), total bilirubin (TBIL). gamma glutamyl transpeptidase(GGT), albumin(ALB), prothrombin time(PT), and liver fibrosis target(HA, LN, PC-III, IV-C).Results:1. Aged above 50 male farmers were the major case among the patients.2. The diagnosis of 235 cases according to pecentages from high to low are Hepatitis B liver cirrhosis, hidden cirrhosis of liver, schistosomiasis cirrhosis of liver, Primary biliary cirrhosis, Hepatitis B liver cirrhosis. Pecentages of TCM sydromes are damp-heat, Yin deficiency of liver and kidney, spleen and kidney Yang weak, retention of dampness, liver depression and spleen deficiency, blood stasis blocking collater.3. Liver depression and spleen deficiency and blood stasis blocking collater are the major part of Child-Pugh A class cirrhosis; damp-heat syndromes can be found frequently in Child- Pugh B class; While Child-Pugh C class consisst most of Yin deficiency of liver and kidney, spleen and kidney Yang weak, retention of dampness syndromes.4. Damp-heat cases may have higher AST, ALT, TBiL level; Yin deficiency of liver and kidney, spleen and kidney Yang weak, retention of dampness patients may have higher liver fibrosis target level, longer clotting time and lower ALB level. blood stasis blocking collatercases have Prolonged clotting time and higher liver fibrosis target level. Conclusion:Hepatitis B liver cirrhosis is still the first reason of cirrhosis in this study. The proportion of hidden cirrhosis of liver is higher than similar studies. The reason can be shortage of ways of diagnosis, or the prejuduce to invasive test, liver biopsy. Liver depression and spleen deficiency may be an early stage of cirrhosis; Damp-heat may stand for active hepatitis; Yin deficiency of liver and kidney, spleen and kidney Yang weak, retention of dampness can be models of end stage liver disease, with liver function failure and spleen function. Blood stasis blocking collatercases syndrome have most cases and highest rate of compensated cirrhosis, which may be just a sampling error, or the regulation of schistosomiasis cirrhosis of liver.
