Strictly in accordance with the diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and e xclusion criteria collected 60 cases patients from October October 2013 to 2015 in De partment of general surgery; the First Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of tra ditional Chinese medicine, will meet the criteria for the diagnosis of gastric cancer sur gery after gastrectomy for gastric cancer after dysfunction patients, according to the ra ndom number table method were randomly divided into three groups, in random numb er table selected 60 consecutive random numbers, according to the order of treatment of patients, each patient corresponds to a random number, random number is divided by two and the remainder is 0 into the acupuncture group and the remainder is 1 in the control group. Each group of 30 cases, acupoint application group 30 cases, male 16 cases, female 14 cases, average age(55.7 + 6.1) years old; control group 30 cases, male 15 cases, female 15 cases, average age(55.4 + 5.9) years old. Baseline levels of three groups of patients, such as age, gender and other data were not significantly different(P > 0.05). Three groups are preoperative gastroscope biopsy, there is no con traindication, surgery for cancer radical surgery and postoperative gastric cancer postop erative function disorder symptoms, acupoint paste packing group: selected bilateral Zu sanli, Neiguan, Shangjuxu, Sanyinjiao(SP6) traditional Chinese medicine sticking. Cont rol group: only basic treatment. Observe and record the postoperative bowel sounds re covery time, first exhaust time, the first defecation time, daily abdominal circumferenc e measurement and on the patient’s symptoms score, and evaluated the effect. Results: 1. The recovery time of bowel sounds: acupoint application group and control group were compared between patients with bowel sounds recovery advanced significantly(P < 0.05) there were significant differences. 2. First times of exhaust time: compared with the control group, the acupoint sticking group had early(P < 0.05). There was a statistical difference between the two group s. 3. First defecation time: compared with the control group, acupoint application group had a significant difference in defecation time(P < 0.05). 4. Changes of abdominal circumference: two groups of abdominal circumference chang es, each day 3 abdominal circumference is the 1 day were decreased, but abdominal c ircumference between the groups no significant difference(P > 0.05). 5 curative effect evaluation: compared with the control group, there was a significant increase(P > 0.05) in the acupoint application group and the significant reduction in t he severe symptoms(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine is effective in improving gastroint estinal function disorder after operation of gastric cancer patients, and is superior to b asic treatment, and has good safety.
