A Study On The Regional Advantages Of Yunnan Landscape Oil Painting

There are different natural environment and humane landscape in different regions. Yunnanprovince is located in the southwest frontier of the motherland. Due to the special geographicallocation, the climate, geology and geomorphology, religion, social ideology, ethnic culture is quitedifferent from those in other parts of china. Since the landscape oil painting creation has beengreatly effected by regional resources, Yunnan landscape painting has a very unique regionalsuperiority. This article discusses and makes a research on regional superiority of Yunnanlandscape painting from the perspective of regional natural resources and culturalresources.Firstly, this thesis is trying to analyze the advantages of the natural resources andcultural resources in Yunnan, and expounds the complex landform, the richness in naturalresources and the combined but independent features of multi-ethnic cultures through the analysisof the Yunnan region of the unique advantages in resources. The research aims at researching theeffect of the regional natural resources on landscape painting, and the effect of the regionalcultural resources on landscape through the research on the regional significant effect on thelandscape painting, which demonstrates that the landscape painting is possessed with obviousregional characteristics not only in the creation themes, but also in the style of creation.The focusof the thesis is on analyzing the regional factors of the landscape painting in Yunnan, explainingthe relation between the region and the basic features, themes, representation styles, the linguisticforms and other aspects, then researching into the case study of the landscape artists in Yunnan forthe purpose of analyzing the the embodiment representation of regional characteristics in Yunnanlandscape paintings. Finally, the paper summarizes the regional advantages of researching into theYunnan landscape painting. The regional resources effects on Yunnan landscape painting id quiteextensive, and the Yunnan landscape painting is influenced by the regional characteristics and thediversified development of the artist styles. Therefore, the advantage are the mountain, water,animals, plants, humans,"God" and the multiple cultures in the pure land of Yunnan, whichexpresses the writer’s belief that Yunnan landscape painting should probe into the regionalcharacteristics advantages if we want to make the art of Yunnan landscape painting in Chinesepainting even in the world-wide level.
