Research On The Domestic Palace Comedy In The Perspective Of Feminism

Recently, the domestic palace conflict TV series, attracting the folk’s attentions by its novel plot, violent dramatic conflict and magnificent settings, have become the mostpopular and hottest kind of TV series and have been getting excellent ratings to the extent that the year2012with the largest number of this kind plays is regarded as the palace flight drama hit year. The palace conflict drama with female narrative depict a group of women struggling in the autocratic palace, revealing the conflict in the palace and women’s hardships in the extreme thepatriachal environment.This paper is divided into five parts,the first chapter is the introduction which summarizes the research background of palace fight drama and discusses the significance and the intention of this essay on the basis of the present research achievement domesticand abroad.The analysis of the palace fight drama by the Feminism’s theories is the main point of this essay. The second chapter mainly analyzes the characters to reveal that although the women act in the center of the whole stage, they are still dominated by the patriarchal society.The third chapter introduces the living status of women in the harem.The fourth chapter reflects the dilemma when contemporary women pursue the equal dialoguefrom the angle of traditional culture and the weak female identity emphatically. In the fifthchapter the main conclusions of this paper are summarized.
