A Study Of The "US Politics" And "Beauty" In The Western Han Dynasty Scholars

Western Han Dynasty was the first great unity in the history of China. The establishment of conception of government, the formation of diplomatic thoughts and the accumulation of custom and culture were associated with the wisdom and efforts of scholars in the Western Han Dynasty. Both native and foreign affairs and custom and culture of Western Han Dynasty have far-researching influence on the other dynasties in the history of China. Scholars in the Western Han Dynasty were both the builder and the communicator of culture, which made them have the sense of responsibility and mission. In internal affairs, scholars provided suggestions positively to reform abuses of Qin Dynasty and unify the culture. In foreign affairs, scholars open the Western Regions and resist the Hun with courage and boldness, which broadened people’s horizon and made Chinese civilization stand on the stage of world. In public morals, scholars disciplined themselves to civilize people and propagate the political and cultural thoughts of Confucian.Based on the explorations of the history status of Western Han Dynasty and the contributions of scholars and the discoveries of the previous researches, this paper started with the specific contributions of scholar in Western Han Dynasty to improve the policy and culture, and then further studied the contributions of scholars to the formation of traditional culture and investigated the responsibility and mission of modern elite in the building of culture.
