Since ancient times political culture and literature have closed relationship, the literati as a specific group, with the double function of political and cultural. In the early Ming Dynasty’s political environment. The emperor with a different attitude towards intellectuals. At first, he respected them, but struck them at last. In this environment, so the literati serve the Emperor by following the truth. This kind of political became a typical feature of the political culture. Su Boheng as one of the literati, he always serve the Emperor by following the truth. And his political thought reflected in the literature is that writing are for conveying truth. His literary thoughts are embodied in the article.Su Boheng lives in the Yuan Ming Dynasty. As a Han adherents, he has held a grudge against Zhu Yuanzhang’s power.However, in the official period, he has been upright and honest. And to practice the truth as his principle of work. What’s more,the truth play the important role between Su Boheng and Zhu Yuanzhang. He do his best to practice Confucianism. He praises of Zhu Yuanzhang, because Zhu Yuanzhang’s policies consistent with his Political thought. Su Boheng thinks that the function of article is conveying truth. He advocated that the article and the truth must put together. So in his article he always elaborate Confucianism about benevolence and love. He hope that his thoughts can guide and regulate the behavior of the monarchy emperor. It’s very instructive.
