| In the early 1950 s,the cause of children’s literature received great attention from the society.the monthly Journal of Juvenile Literature and Art,founded by Children and adolescents Publishing House,was the first periodical of children’s literature founded in New China.For the senior primary school and junior high school level of young readers to provide a wealth of spiritual food.Especially after the National Children’s Literature and Art creation Award was held in 1954,the magazine played an important role in promoting the formation of the golden age of Chinese children’s literature creation.However,due to the complex social dynamics of the "Seventeen years" period,the magazine was suspended twice from its inception in July 1953 to July 1966.The theory of children’s literature emphasizes that the communist education of children and adolescents has always been the principle to be followed in the publication of works in magazines during the "Seventeen years".Moreover,under the social background of the spread of the extreme left trend of thought in the late 1950 s and 1960 s,the realistic utilitarianism embodied in the magazine is more obvious.With the strengthening of realistic education and class struggle,the concept of pure literature orientation of magazines in the early stage of editors has been constantly turned into a tool to cooperate with political propaganda and school education.Through the investigation of the authors of Shanghai Juvenile Literature and Art(1953-1966),we can understand the working environment and creative space of children’s writers under the publishing system of New China.In this kind of social situation in which the individual is highly cooperative with the national collective,the study of the magazine text must put it in a strong political system in order to carry out more in-depth discussion.Although the study of children’s literature has always been based on the ideal of paying attention to the child-oriented,it is faced with the research object which can not be separated from the key factor of "education",especially the children’s literature in the seventeen years.We must not simply separate the relationship between literature and politics.Only by respecting the legitimate factors of politics or revolution and paying attention to the narrative mode of political discourse in children’s texts through the literary works in magazines,can we better discover how children andadolescents are constructed and spoken in the "Seventeen years". |
