In Chinese contemporary literary world, Fangfang is a thoughtful outstanding female. Her unique charm is that in her works, there are always sending out a force that through the heart, and this power comes from her deep concern for the individual life. Fang fang’s novels are always drifting away the mainstream of contemporary literary world, and obsessing with writing the daily life of small and medium-sized characters. Fangfang as a wise man and experience of life, she faces up to life and death straightly and tell her unique understanding of life and care. This paper attempts to analyze fangfang’s novels from multi-faceted in the perspective of life consciousness, then to dig out the deep connotations of all life consciousness.The paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter explores the root that forms the life consciousness of fangfang’s novel, personal life experiences and writing attitude and accepted cultural concept, all affect the formation of fangfang’s life consciousness.The second chapter mainly from three aspects to interpret the life consciousness, include the living status of life, the writing based on the life and death and the salvation to the plight of life. Fangfang announces the existence of life and the absurdity of death with a heart of compassion, and saves the life that in the dilemmas out of a sense of responsibility of intellectuals.The third chapter mainly analyzes fangfang’s exploration and inquiry of nature and value of life as a catcher of life, and on this basis summarizes the significance of the life consciousness writing.
