Research On Qu Ruji

QuRuji(1548-1610)of Changshu was a famous scholar，he enjoyed a importantreputation of his literary works.This paper is a research about Qu’s family, life andsocial relationship which consist of three chapters.Chapter one is focused on QuRuji’s family.Based on first-hand documents?wediscussed Qu’s family origins and the life details of QuRuji’s ancestors, in order tofulifll part of nowadays1research.On the foundation of documents analysis we made afour generations family tree of Qu’s forefathers.Chapter two is the study of QuRuji’s life and social relationship. Patr one is’about Q’us life.QuRujis life could be divided into three stage. Stage one (about1548-1570),Qu was good at studying,then was recommended to the imperial college.Stage two(about1571-1581),Qu suffered a terrible family diaster and struggled veryhard to survive;Stage three(aboutl582-l610)?Qu experienced a lot of places in hisofficial career,and has done a very good job at the same time.Part two discussed Q’usclosely connected friends and their social activity.Part three is QuRuji’s chronicle.Chapter three is the appreciation of QuRuji’s literary works，mainly focused onhis landscape poems, presentation poems, leisurely poems and landscape songs,narrative songs, festival songs etc. Then analyzed his landscape poems, presentationpoems’ Characteristic.Appendix one is the social relationship study of QuShisi, this appendix enlargesthe members of Qu’s social life from5to20.Appendix two is the religious emotion ofQu’s family, including their religion belief and their influence to the spreading ofCatholic in China.
