A Study On The Theoretical System Of Nie Shuangjiang 's Theory Of "Silence"

Nie Shuang-jiang, who was one of the important disciples of Wang Yang-ming, wasclassified as ‘heart back to quietness’ faction together with Luo Hong-xian by laterscholars. Nie Shuang-jiang made his ‘heart back to quietness’ and ‘keep quietness’ effortsto challenge Wang Yang-ming’s doctrine, summarized as ‘formation of air flow in thecomb’ and ‘vanity good mysterious wind’, which deviated from the real needs and evenwas criticized by Gu Xian-cheng as ‘empty’ and ‘mixed’ science. Nie Bao’s "return tosilence" doctrine is the doctrine inheritance and development of Wang Yang-ming’sdoctrine. It is the remedy for some of the drawbacks generated in the development processof Wang Yang-ming’s doctrine and a very important academic science component in WangYang-ming’s doctrine.This article will examine Nie Bao’s doctrine under the historical background of hislife time. By horizontally comparing his thoughts with the thoughts of his teacher WangYang-ming and Wang Yang-ming’s disciple Wang Long-xi, Zou Shou-yi and others. Atthe same time, from the vertical,taking Nie Shuang-jiang’s philosophy as a starting point,grasp the rationalization of its " heart back to quietness " faction. Then overall andcomprehensive combination of horizontal and vertical expansion on ‘heart back toquietness’ factions are studied. The article is divided into four parts: The first part: basedon Nie Shuang-jiang’s political experience, evaluate the development process of histhought,at the same time analyse different factions of thought of Wang Yang-ming’sdisciples.
