Chinese national music culture has a long history. Along with the changes of the times,Chinese national music has been developed. And in the traditional folk music field, Chinesefolk song occupies a very important position. As years went by, the rearranged folk song---akind of vocal musical art with unique qualities and connotations---has come on the stagegradually. This paper will give a comprehensive analysis of the reorganized folk songs and theoriginal folk songs---which are two kinds of Chinese folksong arrangements---by using thecomparative method.The paper is divided into two parts.The first part is the analysis of the singing features of the rearranged folk songs. Analysiswill carried out from comparing the reorganized folk songs and the original folk songs insinging skills, language use, the use of lining words, rhythm changes, the cultural level ofsingers, singing surroundings and other aspects. This part also introduces some representativeindividuals who have made outstanding contributions to this kind of songs. Taking the Sichuanfolk song "Embroider the Pouch" as an example, analysis will focus on the scientific, flexibilityand regularity of the rearranged folk songs.The second part mainly analyzes the singing features of the folk songs of Chinese newadaptation."Lady Meng Jiang","Going to the West Gate","Peach Apricot gray" will be takenas examples in our analysis. From the analysis of the pronunciation, articulation and opera typestructure, this paper further discusses the use of cutting, crying sound, articulation in the newfolk music.In folk songs of new adaptation the length of the music composition is extended anddegree of difficulty for singers is improved, which makes the music more dramatic, and, in theother hand, gives full play of the singers’ vocal and musical performance. Thus, this kind offolk songs meets the need of the time and gains wide favor of the vocal music workers andamateurs.
