Hefei Dialect is an important branch of Jianghuai mandarin. The initials, the finals and the tones all share the typical characteristics of Jianghuai mandarin. Since the founding of the PRC, Hefei city has witnessed ahuge population migration, whichhas caused a certain impact on the traditional Hefei Dialect. With the development of the society, Hefei Dialect is increasingly influenced by mandarinand thus slowly getting close to it. This experiment takes New Hefei Dialect as the research object, and through the method of experimental phonetics, this article attempts to comprehensively study the vowel system of New Hefei Dialectfrom the perspective of acoustic. In this article the New Hefei Dialectis defined as the dialect that is spoken by native Hefei people who were born in the late1980s and early1990s.In this experiment Emu is used to labelthe experimental materials and processthe formant data, besides, the R is employed to draw the vowel acoustic diagram. Forconvenience’s sake, in this article the syllable structure of New Hefei Dialectis dividedinto three forms,i.e. V(C),(C)VN(-) and (C)V?.’C representsconsonant initials,’V represents vowels,’N(~)’represents nasal or nose rhyme and’?’represents glottal stop. This paper mainly consists of four parts. The first part discusses the monophthong of (C)V structure in Hefei new Dialect. From the perspective of duration, formant and the acoustic figure, the twelve monophthongs are analyzed. After "Lobanov standardization" based on the Z value, we come to the conclusion that the gender factors brings nodifference of linguistic meaning to the vowel system of Hefei Dialect. The second part mainly discusses the seven monophthongs of (C)VN(-) and (C)V(?) structure in Hefei Dialect. Through FFT transformation we obtain the language spectrum, and explore the energy level of the nasal vowels [a],[(?)],[u] before and after the nasalization. Meanwhile, we learn that the appearance of vowels [a],[(?)],[(?)?],[a] requires certain phonetic conditions, and they form a neat allophone relations,In the third part the eight diphthongs in (C)V structure are discussed. All of the diphthongs in Hefei Dialect are raising polyphthongs. The dynamic processexpression of New Hefei Dialectdiphthongs in acoustic diagram is still arelatively standard inverted triangle. The nuclear of the diphthongs are independent and stable; it is the main section of the diphthong. However the head vowel has the shorter duration and is strongly influenced by the nuclear, therefore, in the whole sound, it is only a sliding section. The fourth part mainly discusses the diphthong in structure (C)V-and (C)V(?). Through the experimental result, we know that three nasal terminal vowels [in],[yn],[iη] in old Hefei Dialect have turned or are turning to diphthongs [iE] and [yE]. In the meantime there exist two finals [oη] and [iη] in New Hefei Dialect. As for[(?)(?)] classdiphthongs, the final ingredients [(?)(?)] can be classified with monophthong [(?)(?)] as the same phoneme. In addition,in [(?)(?)] classdiphthongs, vowels [i],[u],[y] have become the nuclear vowel rhyme of diphthongs [i(?)(?)]、[u(?)(?)]、[y(?)(?)]. And the [(?)(?)] can be viewed as hyperplasia glide, then the diphthongs can be marked as [i(?)(?)],[u(?)(?)][y(?)(?)].
