On Emotional Teaching In The Second Language Teaching Method

With the development of Chinese economy,more and more foreigners started to learn Chinese.How to make Chinese learning easy and enjoyable for the promotion of Chinese language is also very important.The author thinks that one way to improve the effectiveness of language teaching is that add emotional factors into the teaching process.Attaching great importance to the emotional factors in the process of teaching has very important significance.First, it is helpful to promote students’ cognitive activities.This mainly displays in the following four aspects:(1)Regulate the selectivity of students cognitive.(2)Improve the enthusiasm of students’ cognition.(3)Optimize students’ cognition.(4)It will benefit the internalization of cognition.Second, it’s helpful for students to have positive affection on a subject. Positive emotions plays a different role in different stages of teaching.In the early positive emotion formation,it plays the role of Confront and germination.During the formation,it plays the role of precipitation, deepen.After that,it plays the role of consolidate and enhance role.Third, positive emotions to establish a good relationship between teachers and students.When a positive emotional experience in the interact between teachers and students, the two sides will have further communication,This will consolidate the relationship between teachers and students.Emotional problems in teaching have mentioned in their education ideology for a long time.But in the use of emotional factors in teaching in Chinese language teaching still has not been received widespread attention.Investigate its reason basically has the following four main factors:First,some people think emotions can only experience and sense, but evasive maneuvering.Second,Influenced by traditional cramming concept in China, many Chinese teachers prefer to use conventional approach for Chinese teaching.Third,teaching conditions can not meet requirements of emotion teaching.Fourth,the lack of practice instruction on emotional teaching in second language teaching.Even if some teachers know the importance of emotional factors in teaching, but due to lack of operability of Chinese emotional teaching guidance and couldn’t get into the emotional teaching in Chinese teaching.GPA English full name is The Growing Participator Approach,this method created by Greg Thomson in2003,who are the Dr. Psycholinguistics in the university of Albert.The study method of purpose is to learn a language, not in learning the language itself, but in learning a new life of the language’s communities.This paper introduced the concept of GPA and specific teaching methods.combining with teaching practice,through discussing the practical teaching materials, participator, nurser, the relationship between teachers and students, the language and culture these five aspects discourse this method in emotional teaching operability.Of course each teaching method has its advantages, also has its limitations.The biggest advantages of this approach is student in a very relaxed atmosphere, they can learn a lot of authentic Chinese expressions, to communicate with the locals quickly.This is very advantageous to enhance the enthusiasm of learners.But on the other hand, some necessary hardware conditions required in the teaching process are not conducive to be widely promoted.Though this paper just analyzing how the emotional factors are used in teaching application,but I hope Chinese teaching can draw some methods from this system,and making the Chinese teaching become more relaxed and funny.
