Folk belief as an important part of traditional Chinese culture has a long history. Folk belief has always been a multi-disciplinary research areas of common interest, in particular topics and focus on one of the researchers ethnology, anthropology, sociology, religious studies, history, folklore and other subjects of great concern. As an interdisciplinary field problems, study of folk beliefs of different disciplines have their own vision under the care of different academic and research orientation, research offshoot very complex, the results can be described as voluminous, reflecting the important folk belief in the value and significance in the field of humanities and social sciences.In this thesis, folk beliefs Luxi County, Yunnan Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture Chengzi Village as the research object to field survey data and related documents as the basis for the use of religion, ethnology, anthropology, philosophy and other disciplines theory and research methods explore Chengzi villagers in real life the history and status of folk beliefs and folk beliefs analyzed on the basis of the people in real life is possible and how it has a positive meaning.This thesis consists of the following chapters components:introduction part explain the background and significance, definition, literature review, research theory and methods, and describes the fields point overview; first chapter is an overview of the evolution of the village history and faith Chengzi village, including Chengzi history and current situation of the village, from the settlement in the history of the Yi Han settlement to the present, as well as a variety of different forms of faith Chengzi Village historical periods presented, namely the early nature worship with today Yi Han folk belief; second chapter is presented for the faith in the form of folk village Chengzi done fieldwork, including villagers of geographical gods faith, life rituals related to the growth process, the traditional culture of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism in the village Chengzi faith forms presented aimed at presenting the state of the village Village diverse beliefs; Chapter III is an inter-faith analysis of the phenomenon Chengzi villagers villagers in real life is, and how it might have a positive meaning.
