Martial arts, which have a long history, never escape from our view since Warring States Period. Chinese people love martial arts, especially the Shigeyoshi warrior spirit and the narrative concept of "Searching for legendary and normal in each other". After the founding of People’s Republic of China, Chinese martial arts enter a short period of recessing, but the rise of Louis Cha, Long Gu and Yusheng Liang injects vital into martial arts, or the purpose of distinguishing from traditional martial arts, these work are called "New Martial Arts". Under such circumstances, there is a surge of remaking the work of Louis Cha in Hong Kong and Taiwan since1970s. Only Television Broadcasts (TVB) alone has put almost all the work of Louis Cha up onto the TV as much as twice in20years. In the21st century, the remaking of work of Louis Cha also thrived in mainland and generated a new culture. By the end of2013,"The Legendary Swordsman" by Yuzheng studio and "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils" by Huace File&TV again pushed Louis Cha drama to the cusp of public opinion. The new remaking mode and idea bring a completely different Louis Cha martial arts drama to the audience. Hidden behind the rounds of remaking is the transfer of social culture from elite to mass and finally grass-roots. It is the thoughts of consumerism and postmodernism that affects the changes of the remaking. At the same time, it reveals that TV drama, which has the property of propagation, will eventually preferred commercial value while thinking about the trade-off between commodity and art works.
