A Study On The Relationship Between Aging Attitude And Parental Support And Mental Health In The Elderly

In this study,436elderly people in Nanjing and Suzhou City for the study, using the "Aging Attitude Questionnaire","Family Support Scale" and "SCL-90Self-reporting Inventory" for psychological assessment, evaluation elderly attitude toward aging, parenting support and mental health. To investigate the relationship between the elderly aging attitude, family support and mental health. The conclusions as follows:1. In terms of the overall situation, the score of the Old’s is above the average, among which psychosocial loss score is lower, and the score of the acquisition of mind is higher. Overall, the positive experience of old people is higher than the negative experience;Attitudes on aging elderly there are differences of age, education, urban and rural income levels.2.Parental support dimension significant difference in monthly income;Acceptance of individual differences in the level of support mainly grouped in gender, age and income level and marital status;The level of quality support group in residence, income level, marital status and residence significant differences in form.3.On the various dimensions of health education for the elderly significant differences, and marital status and residence in the form of the difference is only reflected in the individual factors.4.The Old’s parent-child support has negative prediction effect to the psychosocial loss, while the acquisition of mind has a positive role.5. The acceptance support and the giving support, aging attitude’s psychological loss and the acquisition of mind have prediction effect to mental health, among which the psychosocial loss positive prediction is the most obvious.
