Research On The Dilemma And Countermeasures Of Doctor - Patient Relationship In China From The Perspective Of Bioethics

As we know, harmonious doctor-patient relationship is advantageous to the stability of our country and to promote people’s physical and mental health. But seen from the fact that the medical and health system across the country are still not able to meet the public demand for medical resources, coupled with intensified fact that lack of medical ethics and the lower morality of the doctor-patient, the doctor-patient conflicts and doctor-patient disputes continue to emerge, causing widespread and continued concern of relevant departments and academics especially the health community, law field and press circles.Although a number of research perspectives involved in some research on doctor-patient relationship, including the moral quality of the patient and medical personnel, management system of medical units, the social security system and social legal system, etc., but I believe that with increasingly complex in the doctor-patient relationship, in order to grasp the origin that leads to the doctor-patient relationship tends to tension, we need to focus on the ethical nature of doctor-patient relationship, rather than merely analyzing the operational level. Permeated with ethical relationship, the doctor-patient relationship exists among the category of moral constraints and the ethical means is an important and effective way to coordinate and improve doctor-patient relationship. This requires ethical review and reflection not only on existing health care system, but more should be on the informal institutional arrangements and subjective factors, in order to out of misunderstanding and achieve the purpose of rebuild a good doctor-patient relationship.As we all know, bioethics is a discipline that conducted systematic study on human behavior exist in the field of life sciences and health care based on moral values and principles, so based on above analysis and bioethics perspective, this paper will sort out the related theory of the doctor-patient relationship using literature analysis method firstly, and then analyzes the historical evolution and status of the doctor-patient relationship. Based on above analysis, this paper will combine with actual cases to analyze the exemplifications of ethical misconduct of doctor-patient relationship as well as the deep-seated tension between doctors and patients based on bioethics ethical perspective. Finally, in order to provide a theoretical support for future research and practice, this paper will make some appropriate proposals to improve doctor-patient relationship according to the author’s opinion.
