Life has been changed in this fast developing world and the religious realm could be no exception. The form and doctrine of some church organizations is now aimed at taking in more believers, which is so different from the past.Taking theories on religious changes and expansion as the guidance, this study seeks to explore the development of the Korean Emmanuel Church in mainland China from the perspective of social transition, in order to find out how religions acclimatize themselves to the social changes and act as the spiritual support for believers. Qualitative methods, such as in-depth interview and focus group, have been adopted to figure out whether these changes are religious secularization or the struggle against it.
