In the process of modernazation which is dominated by the urbanization, cities constituted by individuals, and individuals deeply affected by urbanism, are undergoing complex and profound interaction. Spatial form of the city which is the background of private life, has a tremendous impact on private life, no matter in material or moral terms. Individuals’ living conditions and mental state has changed the community cultural ecology of urban areas. The documentary "Neighborhood cadres" reflects social change to village residents through the demolition of Fengcheng first village. Based on the documentary perspective, this article investigates the issues involved space, ethics, identity anxiety, rural and urban area from the "Neighborhood cadres", hopes to provide a full explanation to indivduals and city in the process of urbanization.
