So far, current academic research on the resentful and sarcastic poems in "The Book of Songs" mainly focused on the social and political aspects or poetry-teaching aspects, therefore, there is still much to explore in its artistic expression aspects. The thesis attempts to describe the lyric patterns of the resentful and sarcastic poems in "The Book of Songs", that is, those lyric patterns that were repeatedly used in different lyrical poems, so as to reveal feature of lyric patterns of the resentful and sarcastic poem in "The Book of Songs".The thesis first defined three basic concepts-"the resentful and sarcastic poems ","lyric","pattern", followed by a detailed analysis on more than a hundred resentful and sarcastic poems from "The Book of Songs", summed up some dominant lyric patterns of different structures, including the "complaining" and "anti-Xing" patterns used in the beginnings,-"conform the destiny","express one’s sorrow","made the creative motivation clear" patterns used in the endings and also "cursing" lyric pattern,"questioning" lyrical pattern,"self-styled" lyric pattern,"cutting off by water" lyrical pattern,"idealistic imagery" lyric pattern, etc. In addition, among the resentful and sarcastic poems in "The Book of Songs", object fronting is very phenomenal.The end of the thesis, there were some examples on how the resentful and sarcastic poems in "The Book of Songs" have influenced the following generations on lyric patterns.
