Mr. Wu Xiaobang In The Northeast Lu Yi

Luxun Academy of Fine Arts can be said to be the cradle of revolution art, whichis a comprehensive literature and art college appealed by the Communist Party ofChina during the period of the War of Resistance against Japan. It’s designed todevelop the literature cadres and literature workers to fight against the invading armywith the warriors in the front together, which is called Luyi for short. The dancingtraining of Luyi was founded during the time of Shenyang wholly liberated. Therewere many teachers like Wu Xiaobang from Yanan bringing the northeast Luyi muchsystematic and rich original dancing art that coordinated well with the time spirit andthe course of history and that played harmonious Symphony which is full of vitality.As the cradle of revolution art, the members of Luyi dancing training spread the Luyispirit and the exquisite business throughout the country, which made a greatcontribution to the Chinese dancing business. This article mainly records the detailedsituation when Wu Xiaobang taught in the northeast Luyi dancing classes according tothe relevant analysis of historical materials and document and interviewing WuXiaobang’s wife, Mrs Shengjie and the members of the Luyi dancing training in thoseyears. It also summarizes the influence of the members of the northeast Luyi dancingtraining by the four levels through dancing creation, dancing theory, dancingeducation, dancing performance so that it makes a great contribution to Chinesedancing business, which also fills the history of northeast dancing classes at that time,which also richens the Chinese dancing history, which, at the meantime, has profoundguiding significance for the business development of Chinese dancing.This article consists of four parts: the first part briefly introduces the great leader,Mr Wu Xiaobang and his hard experience of exploring the new dances. It alsointroduces his teaching progress in the northeast Luyi dancing training under thechange of the history background. The second part emphasizes on Mr Wu’s teachingin northeast Luyi. He taught the subject of scientific human body basic training—theLaw of Nature class. This part expounds the period by its definition, reasons andparticular teaching. The third part emphasizes on the creative dancing characteristicsMr wu made. It also analyzes that the art dancing creative idea permeates therehearsed dancing works in the northeast Luyi. The last part mainly analyzes andsummarize the contribution made by Mr Wu to the northeast Luyi dancing training bythe four levels of dancing direction, dancing theory, dancing education and dancingperformance.
