A Study On The Performance Of Hafiz Violin Adapted Works

Jascha· Heifetz （1901-1987),one of20century’s greatest violinists.His right-handtechnique for violin makes him occupied a considerable importance in the history of the20th century violin playing status.If there is no Heifetz,violin playing are impossible to reach this height nowadays.Meanwhile,he was also a master of adaptation works.His adaptation work should be count as hundreds.In which Gershwin ’s " Porgy and Bess " Suite," Hora " and otherworks are very impressive.His series of adaptation asketches,became frequenty in today’s concert repertoire,but also provide more material for the improvisational comedy. More importantly,by playing his own adaptation of the work,he gave us such a deep influence in the skills,techniques and terms Inspiration in the violin field.This article will be three partsThis article will be three parts to elaborate. Part I: Heifetz and his adaptations; PartII:research of Heifetz adaptations and his playing techniques; Part III: Adapted fromHeifetz ’s work to observe his contributions and influence. This paper will be focuseson the second chapter, from Heifetz playing his own adaptation of the first of severalworks explore its playing techniques and playing style.Core journals about Heifetz are not much——16articles only, which brings some difficulties for the this paper writing.So I collect Heifetz’s interview video, as well as related books, memoirs to understandHeifetz.This article take Heifetz ’s work as a research object,trying to summarize his right hand aspects of playing techniques and rich features several basic playing techniques frequently used, as wellas his outstanding playing style of the player to bring enlightenment.
