A Probe Into Marx 's Subjective Initiative

The problem of peopl e’s subjective initia tive has always been one of central issues in philosophy.Before the advent of Marxism,both materialists and idealists had misunderstood people’s subjective initiative. Subjective initiative is people’ s unique characteristic, which plays a m ajor role in the course of understanding and transforming the world. If we want to fi nally accomplish a leap from the realm of necessity to the realm of freedom, we m ust deepen our knowledge of subjective initiative and rightly bring our subjective initiative into practice.The reason why Marx can re alize the transformation of the philosophy was that he rightly explained people’s subjective initiative from the perspective of practice. In this paper, the author will analyses Marx’s subjective initiative thoughts in three parts as follows. In the first part, the background and the development of Marx’s subjective initiative thoughts will be briefly introdu ced. The Old m aterialism ignores people’s subjective initiative and the Id ealism develops people’s subjective initiative in the abstract form the background. Marx’s subjective initiative thoughts have experienced three phases: sprout, bloom, and production. The author will explain the main content of Marx’s subjective initiative thoughts in part two.Marx’s subjective initiative theory was based on practice. On this basis, Marx has given a lot of thought to hum an social essence and activity. Thus, he has explai ned the relationship between subject an d object rightly as well as that between people’s subjective initiative and objective laws, which makes his thoughts very reasonable. Part three will explain the significance of Marx’s subjective initiative thoughts. Marx ’s subjective initiative thoughts based on practice not only enrich our understanding of his philosophy and related theories,but also guide us to chan ge the world.Here by it has great theo retic and prac tical implications to explore Marx’s subjective initiative thoughts.
